Cassanovas in Heat, No Love, and Davidians at Slim's 3/23/14

Another month, another Sorry State Records-sponsored punk show at Slim's! Here's the lowdown:
Cassanovas in Heat: Hailing from Boston and featuring members of Bloodkrow Butcher, Cassanovas in Heat are a totally different band. They'll tell you that they're inspired by 70s punk and power-pop bands of the type that labels like Sing Sing and 1977 tend to reissue, but I think there's also more than a little late 80s US punk like Squirrel Bait, later Government Issue, and Naked Raygun in their sound as well. They seem to have a bunch of releases in the works, and you can check out a song from their upcoming EP on Katorga Works here:
