One of my favorite hobbies is trying to find the worst music ever made. On Youtube alone there is a treasure trove of videos of bands doing absolutely horrendous covers.
I'll kick this off with some Romanian band covering "Killing in the Name Of" by Rage Against the Machine:

LOL! You're right, this is hilarious. I think the fact that this guy is actually a pretty good singer really sells it. That and the fact that the lyrics often don't make grammatical sense. "Fast Dick" (Tracy Chapman)

It's just kind of amazing that someone spent so much time on one dumb joke.
I went to a wedding over the summer where my friends did their first dance to "Fields of Dick." Months later, I'm in the doctor's office and "Fields of Gold" comes over the PA. I completely lost it.
